Relatively
permanent memory.
Structured
cognitively as (1) a network of linked or interconnected
nodes that form complex memory schemas and/or (2) levels of
meaning and understanding, from shallow to
deep, that reflect how the
person encountered and has used the information (e.g.
active-experiential learning that involved discovery and some form
of application requiring
reasoning would presumably place the information at a deep and more
permanent , retrievable,
and usable level in long-term memory).
